The Muddy Market is Muddy Brook Farm’s on-site shop, shaped by the land, the seasons, and the people who pass through it. It’s a place to browse thoughtfully, pick up something useful or special, and get a feel for what’s growing and happening on the farm.
With direct access to nearby trails, the market serves as a natural stop for hikers exploring Vroman’s Nose and the surrounding area. Inside, you’ll find practical outdoor essentials, snacks, and provisions suited for days spent on the trail, along with portable food from Trailhead designed to travel well.
Alongside trail-ready goods, the market offers a curated mix of farm-made and locally sourced items, including handmade jewelry, clothing, apothecary goods, candles, bath and body products, and small gifts. A selection of Muddy Brook Farm, Trailhead, and Vroman’s Nose merchandise is also available, offering simple keepsakes inspired by the landscape and life around the farm.
Seasonal flowers grown on the farm are woven throughout the market. Guests are invited to select from dried blooms and stems, which can be arranged into custom bouquets by our farmer and florist. Each bouquet is made to order, offering a thoughtful way to bring a piece of the farm home with you.
Travelers and hikers are welcome to stop in, grab a coffee, and take a look around. Whether you’re heading out for a hike, passing through the valley, or spending the afternoon on the farm, the Muddy Market is designed to feel welcoming, grounded, and easy to explore.
